Our ten days consisted of a lot of traveling and a lot of energy. God sustained us with an abundance of joy and perseverance. We also all felt an indescribable peace while traveling and staying in a foreign land.
We held Vacation Bible School for four days that lasted from 9 AM- 9 PM with breaks in between for lunch and dinner. There were about 120 children that came from surrounding towns and villages to attend. The ages were anywhere from first grade- high school. We also had college age kids who came to help. We had four different stations that the children visited throughout the day and they were: crafts, music, missions, and science. During the afternoon, we would have and epic time of games.
We began the day with an assembly focusing on our verse, country of the day and singing songs of worship together. The theme for our VBS was "be a good neighbor." The kids learned how to be a good neighbor through different cultures and stories in the Bible. If you ask any of us, I'm sure we can burst out into a song about being a good neighbor. :)
After assembly the kids were in groups by age and had bible study focusing on a specific story for the day. After that time we would have "tea time." Once tea time was finished each group would go from station to station. In between that time we had lunch, and after would meet for one more station, then games or snack (whichever came first), and end all together with assembly.
However, our day was not finished! There's more! We would go back to Brakenhurst Convention Center for dinner and then we would travel back to the school to have campfire time with everyone. This time was used as more time to laugh together but also learn more about Christ's love together. We did everything from skits, to worship to watch a Louie Giglio video.

This trip has been totally blessed and knit together by our God.

There are so many stories. This trip has been in the works since January, but even before that. We would have a book if we were to write all the stories down.
